Its Friday again and its a few days to DepaRaya.

Its Friday. Its 6.16. Am still at work. Had to jump out of the marathon meeting that started 8.15 this morning to get on a conference call. Going to KL Hilton tonight. Not sure if it will be good. Last year was not that great. Very de expensive but not de very de gud. I guess it depends on what taste-bud you carry. Fusion food? No way Jose. Dun like.

Not sure what time I can leave here yet. Meantime blab blab blab. How often have you been in such calls and don't know what the heck we wanna do. You know what I do? You betcha! I blogged this entry! *LOL

Is KELING a derogatory word?

Is it? I have always wondered about this. I want to understand where that word came from. For blacks, its nigger - i guess from the word negro. Not sure where negro comes from though.

So Keling must have its origins too right? I read this on some kind of blog searching for meaning..

My my my. I did not know this. I guess a uniform is a uniform. So if a school says, mini-skirts are the rage, then all those women who wear scarves need to comply too? It would sure look funny to me!

What do you think boys and gals? I think its a bit extreme no? But I guess people who want to go learn in an insitution must abide by its rules. If they already knew this then ok. But if they go in and THEN change policy, hmm. I dunno. Imagine if they pay you a low basic and say that as a matter of policy most of remuneration is based on benefits. Then after you join, benefits structure changes. My view? Well if you accepted the stupid deal in the first place then you deserve what you get! If they did not tell you that ABCD is not subjected to policy then THATS a real problem.

It would be funny to see pixie in a headscarf though. REAL funny. [Heh]
